Happy New Year! It has been an interesting year for us. Very scary when we thought we would no longer be able to ship quilts. So very grateful that we had a shipper step up to the plate.
We have had some wonderful financial support this year. A godson who wished to honor his godmother, one of our hardworking volunteers. Another volunteer who was concerned about shipping and made sure we could get a shipment out without the shipper. Many others who continue to support us. There are so many individuals and group that try to make sure we can continue to provide quilts and provide financial help. We are so grateful to you all for your support.
As always the quilts come in waves. We have a commitment for every quilt we have ready to go. Thank goodness we sent 100 last week to Afghanistan. Now it is more local calling for quilts. We know you all will start working now that the holidays are over. We always marvel at the incredible skill and dedication to the quilts. You continue to honor our service men and women in such a beautiful way.
We wish you all good health and peace in the New Year.

I am a new BIMQG member and have worked on the American Hero Quilts. When and where does the group meet in January? I have not received any emails but want to help.

I am sorry Marvalee, I think given the times, meetings have not been set up to my knowledge. You might want to check when Washington state goes through the four stages to open.
